2008 – The Tangent – Not As Good As The Book

This 2008 album of the Tangent tries to cater for a new broad public. Poppy prog songs inspired by rock classics like VDGG, Genesis, Yes and Jethro Tull pass by. A big step away from ‘A Place in the Queue’ this album may appeal to new prog fans.

The songs have got strong and personal lyrics, and there is good musicianship all over. After release Jonas decided to step out of the project for some time until he returned on their 2013 and 2015 releases.
