2017 – Nad Sylvan – The Bride Said No

Nad Sylvan has reunited again an impressive list of musicians for his 2017 solo release. The songs are of different moods with gorgeous vocals and chants and are rather melancholic. Semi-ballads, melancholic and romantic passages and upbeat parts with solid guitar and melodies, catchy grooves and nice orchestration.

The album is diverser and has less Genesis influences than Nad’s previous solo album “Courting the Widow”. Jonas plays bass on 4 tracks and a nice guitar riff on one of those tracks. This is a very entertaining release from a well-respected musician.

The album is available on CD and vinyl, just get it! Also check out the video where Nad talks about the album track-by-track.
